Chiropractor
Ryan Brinka D.C.
Dr. Brinka attended Iowa State University in Ames, IA, where he received a Bachelors of Art degree in Biology. Dr. Brinka first discovered Chiropractic during his college years when a childhood neck injury began to cause problems that affected his school work. While searching for an answer to his pain, he found a chiropractor that eliminated the pain.
After experiencing such phenomenal results with chiropractic and without pain medication or surgery Dr. Brinka chose to attend National College of Chiropractic where he received a Bachelors of Science in Human Biology and his Doctorate in Chiropractic. Dr. Brinka is originally from Glen Ellyn, Il and currently resides in the Fox Valley area.

Shawn, P.T.
Shawn has been a Physical Therapist for over 20 years. Throughout the years, she has spent time working in hospital and outpatient settings with a large variety of clientele.
Shawn has experience helping Women’s Health clients in the form of pregnancy, incontinence and pelvic pain, and she has also worked with pediatric clients of all ages. In addition, she has assisted athletes of all levels to regain their strength and return to their sports. Over the past 13 years, she has focused on using John F. Barnes Myofacial Release Techniques to assist clients of all diagnoses to achieve their maximum potential.
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Desi Acosta, D.P.T.
Dr. Desi is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a doctorate in Physical Therapy. She has been working in the outpatient PT field since 2010 and has been a licensed DPT since 2016.
Dr. Desi had training in Rocktape Functional Movement Taping and is a certified Fitness Trainer through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). Dr. Desi creates individualized physical therapy programs that are easy for our patients to duplicate at home, helping them to achieve better and longer lasting outcomes.

Jen Paikai, D.P.T.
Jennifer graduated from Marquette University in 2008 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT). She began her career with a focus on neurological rehabilitation and pediatrics.
After working several years in hospital centers in Texas, California, and Illinois she found herself wishing could do more to help her patients truly thrive and feel at home in their bodies. She believes in an integrative and holistic view to health care, self-care, and the healing journey.
